About Us
GenNext Success is brought to you by Whiting’s Foods. Founded in 1953, Whiting’s Foods is the largest food concessionaire on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk as well as the food and beverage operator at the Santa Cruz Warriors Arena. As an employer of local youth, we have experience in recruiting, hiring and training thousands of teens over the last 65+ years. Our legacy is based on the positive impact we make in our community and in the workplace, and we are passionate about helping teenagers build their legacy from their very first job.
Our young employees have always inspired us to do our best, and because of them we are humbled to be a 4x Brass Ring Award winner, including the honors of Best Innovative Training Program and Best Reward & Recognition Program.

GenNext Success was started in the early 2000s as Waves for Success. What better time to relaunch with a new brand than 2020 - a year that taught us all to ride the wave we are given.
